The process
A complex install, compressed. The hard part is engineered into the kit.
01Step 01
Plane studs flat, add blocking behind bracket locations, and set the skirts — pan skirts across the bottom and seam skirts along the horizontal joint. Self-adhesive flashing runs the inside corners and the pan-to-wall joint. No thinset, no full-wall membrane — the skirts and flashing carry the water path.
02Step 02
Backwall brackets go in first, registered to blocking. The aluminum vertical jig sets the return-wall brackets at matching heights. Closed-cell foam seals the vertical corners. Panels dry-fit, then set with two-part epoxy at the brackets — lippage posts hold the faces flat while it cures. No fasteners pierce the porcelain.
03Step 03
Color-matched silicone at every vertical corner, the horizontal seam, and the perimeter — 1/8" joint max. Accessories like grab bars and niches install after the surround is sealed. No grout, no float, no sealer. The shower takes water the next day.

One kit covers a standard three-wall alcove up to 60" wide by 36" deep. Panels can be cut on-site for smaller configurations.

Safety notice
Porcelain should never be cut dry. Dry cutting generates respirable silica dust — a known cause of silicosis. Use a wet saw or angle grinder with a porcelain-rated blade and a water feed. Our Cutting Kit supports this directly.

A typical shower surround installs in one day. The track system fastens to standard stud framing, panels lock onto the cleats, and seams are finished with silicone. No tile setter, no grout, no curing time.
Yes. Panels are cut in the field with a wet saw or angle grinder using a porcelain-rated blade. Never cut dry — respirable silica dust is a known cause of silicosis. Our Cutting Kit supports on-site cuts directly and is covered in factory training.
Most tools are standard trim-carpentry — a level, a square, a drill, a wet saw or angle grinder with a porcelain-rated blade. The install also uses a set of proprietary aluminum jigs (our Installation Kit and Cutting Kit), which are a one-time, reusable investment.
Yes — whenever possible, acclimate the porcelain to the surrounding environment for at least 24 hours before installing. This is standard practice for large-format porcelain.
