Every Synthesis™ kit carries a 10-year product warranty on the vitrified porcelain panel — material and manufacturing defects under normal use and service, covered for the original end-user. No registration, no tiers.
What's covered
We warrant to the original end-user that we will repair or replace, at our option, any Synthesis vitrified porcelain panel found to be defective under normal use and care, at no charge, for ten years from the date of purchase. Coverage is on the product only.
A manufacturing defect is a shortfall in the product's performance against manufacturer specifications and the industry allowable tolerances set by the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Porcelain is manufactured from natural materials, and each panel is unique in its composition. Variations in color, shade, grain, movement, surface texture, and finish — including differences between samples or images and the delivered product — are inherent to the material and do not constitute defects.
The warranty is non-transferable. Coverage applies to the original end-user only, and proof of purchase establishes the coverage period — no registration is required.
What's not covered
Sealed joints are maintenance items — inspect them annually and maintain them per the Care & Maintenance Guide. This matches the category standard across panel systems. The warranty does not cover:
- Labor to remove or reinstall the product
- Joints, seams, and any adhesive, sealant, or other accessory
- Minor conditions such as stains, scratches, chips, water spots, and burns
- Mishandling or abuse of the products
- Failure to comply with the published installation instructions, or defects in installation
- Use other than normal interior use in the United States or Canada
- Products moved from their original place of installation
- Structural design issues or factors beyond our control
